Five intriguing details from the GTA 6 mapping project v0.047
1) Other areas of the state of Leonida
While the first Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer showed us some areas in Vice City and undisclosed locations in the state of Leonida, the GTA 6 mapping project has some good news for fans. Based on the September 2022 leaks and the trailer, the project has mapped several other places.
While Vice City will be the main attraction of the upcoming map, the map project also showed the following areas:
- Homestead
- Gator Keys
- Alligator Creek
- Port Gellhorn
- More from Leonida
- Redhill
- Henk Heuvel
- Ambrosia
- Sea view
- SERA
- Yorktown
- Bohemia
It’s worth noting that there are also many other smaller areas nearby.
2) New details of Port Gellhorn

Port Gellhorn is believed to be one of the key locations in Grand Theft Auto 6. Although Rockstar Games has yet to officially introduce the area, the GTA 6 mapping project has provided a rough layout.
Port Gellhorn was initially believed to be a flat area towards the northwest corner of the map. However, the GTA 6 mapping project v0.047 revealed that it has a partially closed water body with several important establishments nearby.
The project also mentioned that the above scene (image) from the first trailer took place in Port Gellhorn.
3) Locations of the leaked clips

The September 2022 GTA 6 leaks include 90 unfinished gameplay clips that gave us very early insights into the upcoming game. Although the leaks did not include a map, the GTA 6 Map Project was able to highlight the locations from the leaked clips.
It’s also worth noting that the leaked clips provided the very first source for the development of the upcoming open world.
4) Locations from the first trailer

Immediately after the release of the first official trailer, the GTA 6 mapping project was able to highlight the locations where certain scenes from the video took place. The team was also able to determine where the above scene (image) took place on the map.
Rockstar Games included several scenes from Vice City and a few scenes from Port Gellhorn, Flamingo Beach, Gator Keys and other locations. To know for sure, though, we’ll have to wait for the release of Grand Theft Auto 6.
5) North side of the map

The north side of the Grand Theft Auto 6 map is still a mystery to fans. According to the GTA 6 mapping project, the Port Gellhorn scene is the northernmost location Rockstar used in the first trailer.
Over time, however, the mapping project was able to predict a rough layout of the north side of the map. According to it, the north side has the following locations:
- SERA
- St. Joseph
- Sea view
- Yorktown
- Bohemia
However, readers are advised to wait for the official GTA 6 map for accurate details.
