Julia Trubkina And Brandon Gibbs upon arrival there was a lot of work to be done 90 days: the last resort — more than just disagreements about having children.
“During this therapy section, we actually have a lot more of what we’re going to share,” Julia, 31, shared exclusively We weekly on Monday, December 2, prior to the Last resort premiere. “Much more us [had been] hidden all these years, but we faced one problem. We were like, ‘Okay, it’s just one problem we have.’ No, we have a lot and not like, ‘We can fix this tomorrow. Everything will be perfect.’ No, they are so deep.”
Julia and Brandon, 31, tied the knot in April 2020, as captured in season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé. The couple had met through Brandon’s boyfriend, initially via video chat while Julia was living in her native Russia. Since their marriage, Julia became an American citizen as she and Brandon tried to overcome seemingly insurmountable odds.
“I mean, we’re going to talk about my family. This isn’t just therapy if we get some distance from Brandon’s family,” Julia teased. Us. “We kind of left them behind in trying to repair our relationship. But my family is a bit in our relationship and other things about children will shock everyone.
Brandon and Julia were among the fan favorites 90 days couples to go to a couple’s resort to improve their relationship. For Julia, she didn’t have “a lot of expectations” about where the journey led.
“For my part, I know I will be 100 percent open. I will do whatever the therapist tells me,” she said. “It doesn’t matter if it will be bad or good, I will do everything. I think it’s a lot and that’s good. So I’m trying to open up and I’m so happy.

She added, “It’s not like, ‘Oh, I’m going to leave this therapy, I’m going to be good.’ No, I think it was like, ‘Okay, I’m going to open up, but it’s not going to cure me tomorrow. It will help me take the right path.’ I try to keep my expectations low, so [I won’t be] Too bad if this doesn’t happen.”
Julia and Brandon also had group therapy with the other participants.
“We are all lost. We all have our problems,” Julia joked Us. “Everyone has something different [issues]. You’ll see in the first episode…but not everyone will open up.
