Linkin Park returns with a new singer and fresh music… finally reunited after the death of their frontman Chester Bennington.
The band announced Thursday that the group would reunite for the first time since Chester’s death in 2017. Bring a singer Emily Armstrong in the fold.
Before joining Linkin Park, Emily sang for the band Dead Sara. Linkin Park also adds drummer Colin Brittanwith whom has worked in the past G Turn overOne OK Rock and Illenium.
Founding members Mike Shinoda, Brad DelsonDJ Joe Hahn And Phoenix stick around…and Linkin Park is releasing a new album on November 15…an 11-song offering entitled “From Zero.”
Linkin Park released its first single, “The Emptiness Machine” on Thursday … and next week the band will perform concerts in Inglewood, New York, London, Germany, South Korea and Colombia.
The new album is Linkin Park’s first since 2017’s “One More Light”… which was released two months before Chester’s death.
TMZ broke the story… Chester hanged himself on the day that his good friend, Chris Cornellwould have been 53. Bennington was only 41 and he committed suicide with a belt.
Now, after a long hiatus, the band is back… and Linkin Park says the group is looking forward to it.
