Nearly 50 people in Jessup, MD, have been taken to hospitals after showing signs of food poisoning.
The Howard County Fire and Rescue Department reports that the 46 patients are described as non-critical, according to spokeswoman Samantha Stanton.
Stanton said firefighters were called to the 700 block of Chesapeake Bay Court in Jessup on Oct. 21 around 3:45 p.m.
Upon arrival, they found 46 people showing signs of food poisoning. All 46 were taken to hospitals.
Officials said it was currently unknown what food the victims consumed. No information was released on whether the patients were part of a group event.
