WWE fans are familiar with wrestlers entering the ring with their unique theme songs, but it turns out a Florida alligator shares a similar habit. This resident of the Everglades Holiday Park near Fort Lauderdale, known as ‘Darth Gator’, only emerges from his den when his favorite theme music, “The Imperial March” by star wars, is played.
One of the stars of the Gator Boys TV show, Paul Bedard, showed off the unusual reaction of his social media followers Darth Gator on Instagram. He immediately comes out of his hole and straight to the sound as the popular John Williams theme starts playing.
He shared the video with the caption: “Darth Gator is Darth Gator.” the video immediately went viral with several views, likes and comments.
“Brooooo, being a HUGE Star Wars fan myself, this is it! Seven was my favorite forever, but Darth has definitely taken the spot for me now,” said one user.
“I honestly can’t stop laughing! I showed it to my kids and they absolutely loved it,” wrote another user.

Darth Gator’s love of the classic Star Wars theme has made him a popular attraction in the park, delighting visitors who witness his unique ritual.
