Cher makes no secret of her scathing thoughts about an “arrogant” director she worked with nearly 40 years ago.
The To believe The 78-year-old singer said she “really didn’t like” Peter Bogdanovich and called him a “pig” after the two worked together on the 1985 film MaskRadarOnline.com can reveal.

In a new interview with The Sunday times about her memoirs, Cher: The Memoirs, Part Onethe actress recalled Bogdanovich asking for her opinion on where to film a specific scene.
She recalled, “And I say, ‘Well, the kitchen works pretty well, why don’t we do that again?’

“The next morning he arrives on set, eats an egg sandwich and starts yelling that he won’t let me direct this movie; I’m a nobody; he could cut me out at any moment. Oh yeah, he was a pig.”
Cher immediately said Bogdanovich was an “a—–e,” adding, “He wasn’t nice to the girls in the movie and he was so damn arrogant. I really hated him.”

The singer’s reminder comes a few years after the late director described Cher as problematic on set.
In 2019, Bogdanovich described Cher as the most difficult actor he had worked with, citing her lack of confidence – especially towards men.

He told it Vulture: “She couldn’t do what Tatum did [O’Neal] did in ‘Paper Moon.’
“She started out in the right direction, but somehow she went in the wrong direction very quickly. That’s why I did a lot of close-ups of her, because she’s very good at close-ups.”

Along with Bogdanovich, Cher also took a hit from director Frank Oz – with whom she worked briefly on the 1990 film Mermaids before he was fired.
She admitted: “I fired the guy from ‘The Muppets.’ I said, you go or I go, which is a shame because he’s a very good director, but he had a thing for me.
“He’d say, ‘At least my wife loves me!'”

The first part of Cher’s two-part memoir is packed with shocking stories from her youth, including details about an affair with a young guitarist and partying with a drunken John Lennon at the Playboy Mansion.
Other stories include how she lost her virginity at the age of 14 by having ‘revenge sex’ with her neighbor’s son, and how she shared a hug with Hollywood icon Warren Beatty at the age of 15.

She wrote: “I stepped barefoot onto the balcony of our suite and stared down. I felt dizzy with loneliness. I saw how easy it would be to step over the edge and simply disappear. For a few crazy minutes I could I can’t imagine any idea.” other option.”
The singer admitted that she reached this point “five or six times,” but each time she thought about her child, which helped pull her away from the suicidal thoughts.
Cher and Sonny were married from 1964 to 1975.
