Officials are searching for a driver involved in a fatal crash on Capitol Hill in June, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

The accident happened around 11:15 a.m. on June 25 at 1000 East Colfax Avenue. This is evident from a Tuesday Medina Alert from the Denver Police Department. A woman driving a white 2016 Dodge Caravan with Montana license plate 299798B struck a male pedestrian who was later pronounced deceased. According to the warning, the driver stopped briefly before fleeing the scene.

The woman is described as white or Hispanic with brown or black hair and was last seen wearing a pink top and sunglasses. Anyone with information on her whereabouts should call 911 or the Denver Police Department at 720-913-2000.
