Two people suspected a robbery near South Peoria Street and East Iliff Avenue were arrested Friday after Aurora police chased them through the city for 30 minutes, agency officials said.
Aurora police responded to a parking lot in the city’s Heather Ridge neighborhood just before 2:30 p.m., the department said in a message to X.
Officers chased the suspects through the city, including on Interstate 225, before “immobilizing” the vehicle 5 miles north near Potomac Street and East 13th Avenue at 3 p.m.
Police arrested the suspects, a man and a boy, and confiscated their weapons. The vehicle they were riding in was previously reported stolen, Aurora officials said.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
