The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 series has yet to be officially announced, but there is already speculation about what Samsung could bring to the table for its next generation of flagship tablets.
While there aren’t many rumors or leaks yet, based on our reviews of the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, we’re trying to make educated guesses about the possible release date, pricing, and specs of the S11 series.
When will the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 be released?
Samsung has historically followed a predictable release schedule for its Galaxy Tab S series, with new models typically arriving in the second half of the year.
The Galaxy Tab S10 series launched in October 2024, so it wouldn’t be surprising if the Galaxy Tab S11 series made its debut around 2024. mid to late 2025.

Given the current trend of the dual-device lineup – a compact option being dropped in the S10 generation – it’s possible that Samsung will keep this strategy for the S11 series.
The naming can also be changed. First, while the Ultra model should remain the same, the Plus model could become the regular Tab S11.
Secondly, just like the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S20, the successor to the Galaxy Tab S10 series could be called the Galaxy Tab S20 series.
However, it is also possible that it will be the Galaxy Tab S25, to bring the naming in line with the Galaxy S25 series.
Expect a now standard Galaxy Tab S11+ and a larger, feature-packed Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra.
How much will the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 cost?
Prices for Samsung’s flagship tablets are steadily rising with each new release.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra started at £1,199/$1,199 for the base model with Wi-Fi, while the Galaxy Tab S10+ was cheaper at £999/$999.99.

With continued advancements in display technology, performance upgrades, and the integration of Samsung’s AI features, it’s likely that the Galaxy Tab S11 series will start at similar or slightly higher prices.
The Galaxy Tab S11+ could start at around £1,049/$1,049, while the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra could start closer to £1,299/$1,299 for its base configuration.
What specifications and features will the Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 have?
Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S11 series is expected to build on the strengths of its predecessors while introducing significant upgrades across several categories.
Design
The sleek and durable design of the Galaxy Tab S10+ and S10 Ultra will likely inspire the S11 series.
Expect high-quality materials such as Armor Aluminum for the chassis, which is both strong and lightweight, along with IP68 water and dust resistance.

While the S10 series saw minor improvements in thickness and weight, further reductions in these dimensions could make the Galaxy Tab S11+ even more portable.
Samsung may also introduce new color options.
Display
Samsung’s AMOLED displays are industry leading, and the Tab S11 series is likely to push this even further.
The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra could have the same huge 14.6-inch AMOLED panel, with a frequency of 120 Hz and a resolution possibly higher than the current 2960×1848.
The Tab S11+ could continue with a 12.4-inch display, but could see improvements in peak brightness and anti-reflective coatings to compete with premium laptop screens.

The introduction of under-display camera technology or further reductions in bezels could make these devices even more visually impressive.
Performance
The Galaxy Tab S10 series introduced MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ chipset, marking a departure from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors.
For the Galaxy Tab S11 series, Samsung can opt for an upgraded MediaTek chip or return to Qualcomm with the Snapdragon 8 Elite for tablets.
Both options are said to guarantee exceptional performance for multitasking, gaming and creative work.

Expect the RAM and storage configurations to remain generous, starting at 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage with Micro-SD card support.
Samsung could also explore new cooling solutions to optimize sustained performance under heavy use.
Cameras
Tablets aren’t traditionally camera-focused devices, but the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra’s dual front cameras were a standout feature.
Samsung could refine this further by offering improved sensors and AI improvements for video calling and content creation.
On the back, a high-end primary camera and an ultrawide option will likely remain.

Video recording capabilities of up to 4K at 30fps could remain a selling point, especially for remote workers and creatives.
Battery and charging
Battery life is always critical for tablets, and the Galaxy Tab S11 series is expected to deliver incremental improvements.
The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra’s 11,200mAh battery offered respectable endurance, so the S11 Ultra could offer even greater capacity or efficiency gains through software optimization.

Fast charging up to 45W is expected to return on both models, although the omission of a charger in the box will likely remain. This trend is in line with Samsung’s commitment to environmentally friendly packaging.
Software
The Galaxy Tab S11 series is likely to run on Samsung’s One UI 7, based on Android 15. Enhanced multitasking features, refined stylus integration, and extensive AI capabilities can make the S11 series a productivity powerhouse.
However, it could be One UI 8 and Android 16 if they launch late enough in the year. Either way, expect Samsung to continue with seven years of update support.
