Even Boho Queen Isabel Marant has caught the minimalist bug. In a new turn for the brand, the studio achieved a more architectural approach to the pre-fall collection, you leaned on right through, classic forms and giving the clothing position through washes, texture and frills.

During a showroom visit, artistic director Kim Bekker noted that when the times become difficult, what the consumer really wants, is a sense of simplicity and reassurance. “The need for authenticity has always been a large part of who we are,” she said. “These are clothing that really looks and have lived in it, even when they are new.”

Although Marant is perhaps known for Boho prints, the duo decided this time that they mainly abandon those for Openwork -Breedels. A faux-geare jacket was treated to look faded; A traditional looking looking came subtly surrounded and interrupted with tabs with a patent theory. Just like in the men’s arrangement, earthy tones of ecru, beige, cognac, midnight blue and black are dominated, here and there with photos of red or orange beaten.

For example, vintage-you-bloom reinforced contrast on a bustier dress with spring light ivory jersey with a lace-like top or a long black slip dress with a corrugated hem that gave the more weight and also more movement. Knitwear was made to measure or tactile and slouchy. Layers were cut for convenience, many with enough bags that a carrier could step out of the bag -free. Although some pieces-in particular the jeans with extra metal buckles and a bit forced, other pieces, such as a faux-fur jacket and gaucho boots that were heavily embellished with metal, placed the line-up in the Marant Territory.
