Well, we can believe again.

Apple TV+ has officially renewed “Ted Lasso” for season 4, with series Head Jason Sudeikis on board to return as the titular Pun-Happy, Snorf football coach. At the moment no other castings have been attached, although previously it had been reported that options had been collected for Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein and Jeremy Swift.

Jack Burditt (“Nobody Want”, “Modern Family”, “30 Rock”) has season 4 on board as a performing producer under his new General Deal with Apple TV+. Sudeikis will produce Executive in addition to the leading role. Brendan Hunt (who also played coach Beard) Toereb Jimoh, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee and Bill Webrubel also executive products. Goldstein is confirmed to write and executive products together with Leanne Bowen.

Bill Lawrence Executive produces through his Dathos Productions alongside Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer. Sara Walker and Phoebe Walsh are writers and producers in the new season, with Sasha Garron Co-produces. Julia Lindon is a writer and Dylan Marron is Story Editor. Warner Bros. Television, where there is more by a general deal, produces with Universal Television.

“Ted Lasso” was developed by Sudeikis, Lawrence, Kelly and Hunt, and is based on the existing format and characters of NBC Sports.
