FDA remains mother about the source of outbreak

The FDA has again refused to provide information about the deadly 2024 E. coli o157 outbreak kicked on Romaine SLA.

Although the Food and Drug Administration knew what was involved with the grower and distributor, it did not mention them in his research entitlements released in December 2024 and again earlier this year, saying that the Romaine lettuce was no longer on the market.

The outbreak in November and December 2024 Disease 89 people in 15 states. One person died and 36 were admitted to the hospital. The sick people reported that they had eaten Romaine Sla before they fell ill. Some of them consumed the SLA in restaurants and the rest ates ate Romaine SLA served during cared for events.

The FDA has again refused to appoint those who are responsible for the outbreak in response to a request for freedom of information submitted by Efoodalert.

In a heavily edited reaction, the FDA explained how his research discovered what grower, processors, broker and distribution centers the Romaine that was linked to the outbreak, but none of the company names revealed.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have never posted information about the outbreak. This is the routine practice of the agency when the FDA does not mention the source of a pathogen in a certain outbreak.
