President Biden addresses the nation after a rocky end to his campaign — in an effort to allay concerns about his ability to complete his term … while once again hyping up his vice president and further explaining his decision not to seek re-election.
The veteran politician addressed the American people from the Oval Office on Wednesday evening, sitting behind the resolute desk and explaining that it was time to pass the torch to a new, younger generation.
Biden rattled off his list of accomplishments over the past 3.5 years, saying he thought his achievements warranted a shot at another 4 years… but he says he realized it was time for new voices to lead the Democratic party .
POTUS also expanded his previous endorsement of VP Kamala Harris … draw a clear line between her and Donald Trump as the November elections approach.

Biden’s speech comes three days after his formally ended his re-election bid after testing positive for COVID-19 while on a campaign trip in Las Vegas.
As we reported … there were already calls for Biden to drop out of the race before his positive COVID test — especially after his disappointing presidential debate and a uninspiring interview of George Stephenopoulos.

Despite spending weeks trying to convince people he could beat Republican nominee and ex-Prez Donald Trump, Biden announced Sunday he would not accept the Democratic nomination and formally endorsed his Veep as his replacement.
Harris happily accepted the endorsement and launched her new presidential campaign shortly after Biden’s announcement… raising $81 million in the first 24 hours.
However, the uproar left the Republican Party in disarray… as several US representatives called on Biden to resign.
