The Mission Impossible star will descend through the Stade de France carrying the official Olympic flag and land on the stadium field. During the ceremony, Tom will then pass the flag to Los Angeles for the 2028 Games.
The broadcast includes previously recorded footage of the action star skydiving Hollywood sign.
Tom was also recently spotted cheering on the US women’s gymnastics team at the qualifiers and attended the first day of the swimming meet.
