An absent AEW star has revealed how his pitch was closed by the company before his return. He is a very popular name and the fans would undoubtedly love his comeback.
There are many names that attract the attention of many struggling fans and one of the most intriguing is that of Danhausen. The enigmatic wrestler is one that defies the description, but unfortunately for him he has not been on television anymore.
Danhausen was a guest on Insight With Chris van Vliet when he opened how he threw an idea for his return. He spoke about a return that was directed around Halloween and it was apparently closed by the promotion based in Jacksonville that wanted to keep his return.
“So I had something like that, well, we could send this Halloween 3 -style, annoying commercials until I came back and I thought of cool, and then it just didn’t happen. So I think that kind of the sky has sucked a bit out of the return, in my opinion, at least for me, it did. It was built for Halloween, and then I could have come back the next week, and I just didn’t. Then it took a bit more time, and I think I was coming back to Thanksgiving, so it’s three or four weeks later, but I come out and I want to struggle, “he said. [H/T: NoDQ]

AEW Ster Danhausen says he almost collaborated with Sting
In the same episode of Insight With Chris van Vliet, the AEW star also said how he was very close to a program with Sting and Darby Allin.
Just like Sting and Darby, Danhausen is also known for painting his face, and seeing them together in a team would have been interesting. The 34-year-old star said he really hoped that it would happen and once it seemed like it might come to fruition, but it didn’t.
“I really wanted me to have been able to work with Darby and Sting. It almost happened. I think there was a hint of it, and then it just didn’t, “he said.
It would have been interesting to see what kind of plans Tony Khan could have had for the facial painted trio before they were finally deleted.
