WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce will be in charge of the brand’s new journey on Netflix. While the switch from cable to a streaming platform removes several limitations on the creative approach, it also gives Netflix a lot of negotiating power. Furthermore, there is a possibility that the streaming giant could force Pearce to bring back Brock Lesnar on the red brand.
The Beast Incarnate was last seen in WWE at the 2023 SummerSlam, where he lost to Cody Rhodes, ending a very heated feud. At the moment, Lesnar is not part of any ongoing storylines in the Stamford-based promotion after he was seemingly hinted at in the lawsuit filed by Janel Grant against Vince McMahon. However, to increase viewership and ratings, Netflix could demand that the company bring back Brock Lesnar.
This would put pressure on Adam Pearce, who is already dealing with several unruly superstars on RAW. Furthermore, the general manager already has a history with the 47-year-old wrestler, having given him an F5 promotion after receiving an indefinite suspension.
Interestingly enough, Triple H said in an interview a few months ago that WWE is open to working with Brock Lesnar. He also noted that The Beast Incarnate was home and could return whenever he wanted. While this scenario is entirely possible, this is all speculation so far.
Adam Pearce can book Brock Lesnar with two reigning WWE champions
Brock Lesnar is a very versatile and explosive wrestler who has been used by the company to decimate and topple other superstars. While he ended Kofi Kingston’s WWE Championship run in just a few seconds, he also helped take Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes to the next level.
If Brock Lesnar returns, Adam Pearce could pit him against the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther. The Ring General is already looking to become a better wrestler after his loss to The American Nightmare at Crown Jewel. So The Beast Incarnate could be the perfect candidate for him to further assert his dominance.
Adam Pearce also has the Intercontinental Champion, Bron Breakker, who could face Brock Lesnar. The 27-year-old always complains that Pearce never gives him opponents worthy of his caliber. So The Beast Incarnate would be a big test for The Dog. Especially when the former Universal Champion, like Kofi Kingston, has already defeated Breakker within seconds.
Furthermore, the two-time IC champion was also the man who replaced Paul Heyman’s man in the 2024 Royal Rumble, which is why The Beast Incarnate already has a score to settle with Breakker. It would be interesting to see if and when Adam Pearce brings Lesnar back to RAW.
