Aliyah Boston prevented a frustrated Angel Reese from entering her teammate Caitlin Clark during the Saturday game between the Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky. After a hard mistake by Clark that the referees had been upgraded to a flagrant error 1, Reese tried to confront her rival before Boston came in. Reese and Boston received technical errors for their role in the material.

After the game, one of A’ja Wilson’s friends wrote on X (formerly Twitter) after the controversial incident:

“I really hope that Aliyah’s career will not be in Caitlin Black Bodyguard.

“This is cloudy.

“It was a basketball game but still difficult.

“I hope this helps.

Clark quietly walked away from the stage when Reese tried to go strong behind her. Boston, the player closest to the two, prevented what a confrontation could have been between the two rivals. The fever star acted on its responsibility to prevent the situation from escalating.

Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese said after the game that it was a ‘basketball game’. Things may have been different if it was not for the timely intervention of Aliyah Boston.


Aliyah Boston and Caitlin Clark lead fever over dominant victory over Angel Reese’s Sky

The Indiana fever opened their 2025 campaign with a 93-58 victory over the Chicago Sky on Saturday. Caitlin Clark led the team with 20 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists and a career-high four blocks. Clark completed his third career Triple-Double, the fastest player in the history of WNBA to touch that number. Aliyah Boston contributed 19 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks.

The fever defense prevented heaven from getting rhythm. After leading 45-32 during the break, Indiana Chicago 48-26 dripped in the second half. Angel Reese closed the game with 12 points, 17 rebounds and five turnover.

Reese hit one of the two flagrant error free throws to lower the lead of the fever to 56-43. Courtney Vandersloot scored a layout in the following possession to distinguish heaven closer to the home team. Indiana reacted with a 9-0 explosion to browse his visitors’ attempt to turn the game out.

The second half showed an even more dominant fever. Caitlin Clark has efficiently carried out the attack and played a key role in disturbing heaven. Aliyah Boston anchored the defense that received only 26 points in the last two quarters.
