The attack left two people dead, including the gunman, who was “neutralized” by the Secret Service within seconds of the attack.
After the incident, Trump revealed that he “immediately knew something was wrong” when he heard a “whooshing sound” and quickly felt “the bullet tear through the skin.”
“I want to thank the United States Secret Service and all of law enforcement for their quick response to the shooting that just occurred in Butler, Pennsylvania.”
