As RadarOnline.com previously reported, McSweeney has filed a federal lawsuit against Cohen, Warner Bros Discovery, Shed Media, Bravo Media and NBC Universal, alleging that Cohen was “harassed, demoralized, humiliated, harassed and retaliated against her” because she is a woman’. with disabilities, such as alcohol use disorders and various mental disorders, all in the name of selling drama.”
The complaint also alleged that Cohen fosters a “rotten workplace culture that uniquely relies on pressuring his employees to consume alcohol, engages in cocaine use with Housewives and other Bravolebrities he uses,” and gives the “Housewives he uses cocaine with more favorable treatment and edits.”
Before she started filming season 12 RHONYMcSweeney said she told producers about her past problems with alcohol and was determined to stay sober.
Her lawsuit alleges that the producers “pressured” her to drink despite knowing of her alcohol addiction, failed to get her help and failed to provide “reasonable accommodation to provide, such as allowing plaintiff to attend AA meetings; agonizing [Sweeney] based on her disability, such as conspiring with other cast members to taunt [Sweeney] about her sobriety; failing to advance Plaintiff because of her mental health diagnoses, and ultimately dismissing Plaintiff because of her mental health diagnoses.”
