Apparently her foray into fashion – her New York store Atelier Jolie, which opened last year – hasn’t been the financial success she’d hoped for either.
In November, the former Goodwill ambassador and special envoy of the UN refugee agency opened the doors of her fashion boutique.
The venue was promoted as a collaborative space and a kind of ‘cultural centre-meets-design workshop’, combining tailoring and upcycling services with a gallery space for local artisans and a café run in partnership with refugee organisations.
