SPOILER ALERT: This story contains spoilers for the September 24 episode of “Dancing With the Stars.”
And then there were eleven more. The first two celebrities were eliminated during “Oscars Night,” the Tuesday, September 24 episode of “Dancing With the Stars.”
On this night, each celebrity pro partner danced their second routine of the season.
The top-scoring song of the night was a rumba to Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For,” performed by Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong. “You created some moments there that touched all of us, I think, like when dance can go inside and pull on all your organs and your heart strings, it’s really powerful,” said judge Carrie Ann Inaba after the beautiful routine. “You’re so young, and since you’re pushing for that so early in the season, I think you could do quite well.”
Meanwhile, Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart landed at the bottom of the leaderboard after their waltz to The “Godfather” theme song. Inaba talked about his stiffness and said that she also deals with ‘chronic pain’. The pair achieved a low score of 15 out of 30, bringing their combined two-week score to 30. Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater also earned a 15, but were rated one point higher than Roberts in week one.
