A 20-year-old Aurora man died early Sunday morning after being shot in what police say was a targeted attack.
The victim was taken to the hospital after the shooting, which occurred around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Aurora police said in a news release. He later died in hospital.
The shooting happened in the 1700 block of Boston Street. Police have not arrested anyone, but do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public.
No one else was injured in the shooting. Evidence at the scene suggested the victim, whose name has not yet been released, was the target of the attack, Aurora police said.
