Two Aurora police officers and two civilians were taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries after a crash Tuesday night.
The Aurora Police Department vehicle collided with a civilian vehicle on the 2600 block of Parker Road while police were en route to a call, according to an Aurora Police Department statement on the social media site
Two of the three people in the civilian vehicle were injured and the two officers in the police vehicle were injured. The police statement did not specify the severity of the injuries, other than to say they were all minor.
Police could not provide more details about how and why the cars collided.
The northbound lanes on Parker Road between Yale Avenue Street are temporarily closed.
