Kamala Harris‘ campaign for president just received major support from Beyonce — and one of the singer’s biggest hits!
Kamala made her first official visit to her campaign headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware, on Monday evening as she stepped into the spotlight to Beyoncé’s popular tune, “Freedom.”

A confidant of Harris’s told the story CNN her team received prior permission from Bey’s representatives to play the song.
That’s a big deal, because Beyoncé is super protective of her music and has strict rules about giving anyone permission to use her catalog.
But Kamala succeeded together with Bey. CNN says Beyoncé gave them permission to play “Freedom” within hours of the Harris team’s request.
It seems like Beyoncé is completely in Kamala’s corner, although she hasn’t endorsed Harris yet, but it’s probably only a matter of time. Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowleshas already offered Kamala her support.
Kamala has yet to be named Democratic presidential candidate, but she is currently the clear favorite, with strong support from donors and her party’s leaders. It seems she already has enough support from the delegates to cross the finish line.
As you know, Kamala replaced the president Joe Biden at the top of the card, after Joe leaned out under increasing pressure from their fellow Democrats.
Joe will speak to the nation later this week about his decision to drop out of the race.
