Big Freedia has announced the death of her 20 -year -old partner, Devon HurstIn a heartbreaking mail on social media. He was 38.
The Rapper (Real name Freddie Ross Jr.) went to Instagram On Thursday, May 15 to share the news and to mourn the loss of her old partner, who died of complications of diabetes.
“I am devastated to announce that today Devon Hurst died peacefully due to complications of diabetes, surrounded by his loving family,” Freedia wrote, 47.
The post continued: ‘He is survived by his mother Chareen HurstHis sisters Meshonda, Stephany and JaylaHis brothers, Steven, Stephon and Malcolmhis daughter Zyriellehis son Davone and his nieces and cousins and his partner Freddie Ross Jr.“
In addition to a photo of the couple, Freedia continued to say how much Hurst would be missed by those he left behind.
“He will [be] Deeply missed by everyone in this community who knew him and loved him.
We comfort that he is free from pain and suffering, and is in peace in the loving weapons of Jesus Christ 🙏🏾 himself, “she wrote.” The Hurst and Ross family are currently asking. In an interview with Another MAG In June 2023 Freedia referred to Hurst when she was asked if she believed in love at first sight.
“Most def. I experienced it with my partner and we have been together for 18 years together. It is our love that we held together,” she told the outlet.
