Billy Joel Says that he has been diagnosed with brain disorder … and as a result he cancel all his planned concerts.
The singer announced on Friday that he is suffering from the normal pressure hydrocephalus … which is a brain disorder where excess fluid accumulates in the liquid cavities of the brain.
Billy says that his condition has been exacerbated by his recent concert performances … and he has problems hearing, seeing and balancing.
BJ says his doctors instruct him to undergo physiotherapy and advised him to stop taking action while he is recovering.
There is no time schedule for Billy to get back on stage and he says: “I’m sincerely sincerely disappointing our audience and thanks for understanding.”
Billy’s Kamp says that his shows will be canceled until 3 July 2026 and tickets will be reimbursed.
A source close to Billy tells TMZ … he follows his doctor’s recommendations to take it easy, but he is doing well and improves.
We have been told that Billy is on a boat today with his wife in Florida, and he plans to resume as soon as he recovers from NPH. We have been told that he has already undergone surgery.
Our source says that Billy is not going to retire … and he plans to be on stage again at some point.
