Brad Pitt‘s latest role will have many fans making a pit stop at the cinema.
It was recently confirmed that the actor will be playing the lead role in the upcoming film F1which explores the unpredictable world of Formula 1 racing.
“I would be a guy who raced in the ’90s,” Pitt said Sky Sports F1 in July 2023 about his role as a former driver. “[My character] has a horrible crash, falls out a bit and disappears, then races in other disciplines. Then his friend, played by Javier Bardem, is a team owner. They are a last-place team. They are 21 and 22 on the grid. They have never scored a point and a young phenomenon is playing [newcomer] Damson Idris. He reels me in like a Hail Mary and high jinks ensue.”
Reports claim that the film’s budget was $300 million and was a blockbuster producer Jerry Bruckheimer troubled moviegoers will love what they see And feel when they watch the film in 2025.

What is ‘F1’ about?

In a rare interview, Pitt couldn’t help but express his excitement about his latest adventure on the big screen. “I’m a bit dizzy at the moment, I have to say,” he told Sky Sports F1 in July 2023. “It’s the best time of my life. … The atmosphere is great, but to be able to be a part of it like this and tell our story, and everyone was really cool with us.”
Pitt went on to explain that the F1 community has been very supportive and helpful in providing resources. “All the teams opened their doors to us,” he explained. “Everyone was really great that we could do this. And it’s going to be very good.”
When will ‘F1’ be released?
While production has been shooting footage of F1 events in 2024 after delays caused by the Hollywood actors’ strike, Apple Studios confirmed that the film will be released in theaters on June 27, 2025. The worldwide theatrical release will also include IMAX theaters.
