Storylines
Brazil have been inconsistent in World Cup qualifiers so far, but have finally managed to get their campaign back on track with a few more wins, the most recent of which came on Thursday with a 2-1 victory over Chile. Brazil dominated against a Chilean side that is a shadow of their former self, but did not make it easy, going down in the second minute and scoring the match winner in the 89th.
A similarly impressive performance is expected against Peru, who have just six points from nine qualifying matches. Brazil will still be without the injured Vinicius Junior, but goals from Igor Jesus and Luis Henrique prove that the team has some scoring chances, even with the likes of Rodrygo and Endrick in the squad.
