Bustang is launching a route connecting Sterling and Denver International Airport

Coloradans living along rural Interstate 76 have a new way to catch flights at Denver International Airport with the launch of a Bustang Outrider route connecting Denver and Sterling.

The bus operates on weekdays, leaving the Logan County Combined Courts building in Sterling at 7 a.m. and leaving the airport shortly after 3 p.m., according to a press release from Colorado’s Department of Transportation, which Bustang operates. The route also includes stops in Brush, Fort Morgan and Keenesburg, as well as Union Station in Denver.

“This is an exciting service for the residents of Sterling,” City Manager Kevin Blankenship said in the release. “Outrider’s new airport stop is a valuable resource for Sterling residents and allows northeast Coloradans to catch a flight without having to worry about parking or driving.”

Adults aged 65 and over, children aged 2 to 11 and people with disabilities can purchase half-price tickets, while younger children and caregivers for disabled passengers can ride for free.
