The highway was closed near Lone Tree as of 11:03 a.m., according to an X-post from E-470 officials.

Drivers must detour via I-25.

The highway is closed in both directions as Lone Tree police conduct an investigation in the area, department spokesperson Melissa Gallegos said. No further information was available, Gallegos said.
