Cameron Brink has hit back at a La Sparks fan who accused her of postponing her return to the court due to injuries. The 6-foot-4 attacker is not visible for the Sparks since he sustained devastating ACL and meniscus injuries 12 months ago.

Although he loves the field, Brink can be seen to support the team on the sidelines and at the same time work her way back to the floor. However, it seems that fans are far from impressed, and even the team’s own fans.

In the aftermath of another defeat for the LA -Outfit, a fan put the boot in Cameron Brink by giving a hard comment on Instagram. He said that the number 2 pick in the WNBA design of 2024 was public without brackets and crutches, but is unable to adjust while the team is still going through a tumultuous season.

“She should have been on the field again,” wrote the fan. “Something tells me that if she puts so much work in rehabilitation when she walks into red carpets and schmoozing, she would be back now.”

“If Los Angeles Sparks fan I am very disturbed by this. It is almost a year since her operation, but within two weeks she already appeared publicly without brace, crutches or something,” he added.

Brink, in response to the fan, did not die, write:

“I usually don’t give energy things like this, but I have time today,” she said. “I work incredibly hard every day. I would give everything to be on the field now. Basketball is my passion and everything for me … to say this, you are not a real fan.

“Thanks to those who understand that ACLs can take a year and give me grace. I can’t wait until I can play again,” she added.

This Sunday is a year since Brink sustained the horrible injury. In the end, she released more than 300 days off the field and missed playing at the Paris Olympic Games with the 3×3 team USA. Brink underwent an operation to repair its ACL and Meniscus, and spent countless hours with hard work in the gym on its recovery.

When will Cameron Brink return from her injury?

Cameron Brink is making good progress in her recovery, and the La Sparks are hopeful that she could be available before or after the Wnba All-Star Break.

Brink made her first steps in her recovery in the preseason with unparalleled before performing conditioning training. It took her time to get at speed, and she was recently spotted to do ball handling, but all activity remains without contact.

The medical team is on their care to hurry back and will take a cautious approach to prevent the injury. The hope is that she can play in the coming months. The shape of the Sparks went nose without their star, because they have won only three of their last ten games in the new season.
