Cara Delevingne‘ thinks about the fire that destroyed her house… and says of course it’s terrible that it all went up in flames — but it would have been much worse if she had still been drinking and taking drugs.
The actress reflected on her tragedy in an interview with the London Times published on Sunday… and she says her sobriety kept her from breaking down over the unfortunate incident.
CD says, “It sucks, but everyone was safe and, like anything, if I hadn’t been sober, I would still be reeling from that. It would still affect me very deeply.”
Of course, Delevigne says she’s still sad about what happened… but she doesn’t let it stop her; instead, she works through it rather than letting it hold her back.
We told the story… a huge fire burned down Cara’s LA home in March, although everyone, including humans and cats, ultimately emerged unscathed.
Cara’s parents later said there was a fire may have been caused by a rogue power line through the official LA Fire Department announced the cause was “indeterminate” after thorough investigation.

Despite her house burning down, Cara says she has no plans to move back to Britain. Instead, she says she loves the US and plans to stay around.
It seems like Cara has been living a much more positive life… even when it comes to some of the biggest challenges.
