Chelsea Peretti is among a bevy of guest stars set to appear in the second season of Daisy May Cooper’s BBC comedy ‘Am I Being Unreasonable?’
In addition to the “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” actor, other guest stars include Tom Davis (“Wonka”), Denise Black (“Queer as Folk”), Jamali Maddix (“Never Mind the Buzzcocks”), the British rapper and poet. Kojey Radical and Cooper’s ‘This Country’ co-star (and real-life brother) Charlie Cooper.
According to the synopsis, season 2 picks up where season 1 left off: “mid-panic attack.”
‘Did Nic get away with murder? Very possible. Did she raise her son Ollie to follow in her dark footsteps? Nic is kicked out of his parents’ home because of brotherly love – he loves the wrong brother – and has to share a caravan with her not-so-reliable best friend Jen. Nic’s husband Dan has taken up skating to channel his midlife crisis. Nic is shunned at the school gates and cast as the witch at the school reenactment and experiences hallucinations. Or is someone playing a trick on her?’
Lenny Rush (“Doctor Who”) returns as Nic’s son Ollie alongside Dustin Demri-Burns (“Slow Horses”), David Fynn (“Daddy Issues”), Juliet Cowan (“Back to Life”), Phil Dunning (“Smoggie Queens”) ), Georgie Glenn (“Call the Midwife”), Beatie Edney (“Poldark”), Amanda Wilkin (“The Split”), Helen Ann Bauer (“Live at the Apollo”), Marek Larwood (“We Are Klang” ) and Karla Crome (“Under the Dome”).
“If you thought Lenny Rush’s BAFTA-winning performance upstaged me in season 1, wait until you see his performance in full on stage in season 2, where you’ll wonder if I’m even in it fed up…. furious,” Cooper joked.
Selin Hizli said: “God bless the BBC and everyone involved for giving us yet another twisted twist in this sometimes dark, sometimes funny and always crazy story. It has been a joy and a privilege to return to the world of ‘AIBU’ and we hope everyone enjoys watching it as much as we enjoyed making it.”
