Christy Carlson Romano Says that her life “has changed deeply” since she was shot in the face while she celebrated her husband’s birthday.
The actress offered fans a look at her recovery when she shared a new video via Instagram on Thursday 27 February. “It is 3 weeks since I was shot in the face and my life has changed deeply,” she wrote in the caption of the video.
“I feel more grateful than I have ever felt in my life and I am healed very well. Every day is a gift for me, “she went on. “I used to be so closed about sharing the things in my life I loved for fear of being assessed. Now I just don’t care. “
The actress nominated by Emmy promised fans that she “would share more about my hobbies, passions, comedy, family, just things I care about” while she continues with her recovery.
“I may sing in the car, it can be my obsession with skin care and beauty, or fashion, or cooking, or I just behave like a total weird with my husband,” she explained. “If it brings me joy and it doesn’t hurt anyone, I’ll do it.”
She added: “Also, as I told you @thebrendanooney, I was shot down, and I will eat all the damn Oreos, wherever and whenever I want!”
Romano revealed in a video that was placed on 7 February via Instagram, that she had shot in the eyes while she and her husband shoot clay pigeons. “So I was shot in the eyes. It wasn’t fun, “she explained at the time.
“I am very grateful to the first care providers as a whole,” she continued. “I mean, they are just the most amazing super -hero people who take care of us at our most desperate times.”
Romano gave birth to her eye and told her fans that her injury ‘is really bad tonight’.
‘Everything is cleaning up a bit. But I can say that I was shot in the face and lived to tell the story. “She concluded:” Be grateful every day. “
In the caption of her video, Romano was more in detail about what happened that day. “There was another party with us and they shot unsafe in the wrong direction and shot me in the face,” she wrote.
“I was hit in 5 places, one was less than an inch of mine directly in my right eye,” the caption continued. “Unfortunately, an excerpt is recorded behind my eye and it is too risky to remove surgically at the moment. Doctors will continue to follow me (I can see normally at the moment). “
She added: “With everything that happened, I can only think how grateful I am to live. I love my daughters, husband, family and friends so much. I saw my life flash before my eyes and I tell you, hug the people around you every chance you can. Life can change in an instant. 🙏. “
