She added: “It was just one of those things that he, I think, just realized that by that time I would like to introduce you. Like, on this point in our relationship, I would like those things and there I still have to be ready. You can’t really see myself.
James did not introduce KirkConnell during his season The bachelorInstead, choose to date. They started briefly after previous racial insensitive photos of KirkConnell that appeared online.

According to KirkConnell, she was “absolutely shocked” when James broke up with her for the first time.
“We were very happy together, even with all the chaos around us when it was only me and him behind closed doors, it was great,” she said. “It was so nice. We were so happy when we decided not to let the outdoor noise come to us. ‘
