Hurricane Milton ravaged Florida’s central west coast — and the deadly storm even devastated CNN’s most recognizable face: Anderson Cooper.
Anderson, who usually hosts his show “Anderson Cooper 360” from a cozy studio in New York, went to work near Siesta Keys, Florida, to report on the “dangerous Category 3” hurricane, but Wednesday evening he got into trouble.

Check out the video… Shooting live from a water-filled pier, Anderson was met with high winds and heavy rain when flying debris hit him square on the head.
The veteran reporter was startled and stumbled back, saying, “Woah! That wasn’t good. We’ll probably go in soon.”

As you know, Anderson is no stranger to covering natural disasters or entering war zones. He has spent much of his journalistic career covering these stories.
But his legion of fans still expressed concern on social media as he struggled to deliver his report from Florida. Several supporters encouraged him to get to a safe place before the hurricane washes him away.
Suddenly, his image was replaced by CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins, who assured viewers that Anderson was doing just fine.
Collins noted that the network had a difficult time connecting to Anderson because of the storm, which reportedly killed four people in St. Lucie County alone and destroyed entire neighborhoods.
Stay safe Anderson!
