Crystal Palace vs. Manchester United live stream: where to watch the Premier League online, TV channel, team news

Two wins and ten goals from their last two games mean the atmosphere around Manchester United is relatively lively for once, regardless of the fact those wins came against a likely relegation candidate and a League One opponent. A visit to Crystal Palace could very well leave Erik ten Hag in the dust, and that has certainly been the case recently, with two of United’s last three visits to Selhurst Park ending in defeat and the other in a draw.

Palace have started the new season slowly and were made to sweat during their EFL Cup win at Queens Park Rangers. However, Oliver Glasner’s side have the kind of dynamism and aggression that could cause all kinds of problems for United. Will they achieve another big result against the Red Devils this weekend? Here’s what you need to know about the game:

Team news

Crystal Palace: The numbers in defense are poor after the transfer window, even more so considering that Chadi Riad is out with a knee injury and his colleague Trevoh Chalobah is considered doubtful. Cheickh Doucoure is also expected to miss just a few weeks after returning from a serious Achilles injury.

Possible Palace XI: Henderson; Clyne, Guehi, Lacroix; Munoz, Wharton, Hughes, Mitchell; Kamada, Eze; Mateta

Manchester United: There is reason to hope that both Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund will be able to feature at Old Trafford, at least in some capacity, after returning to training this week. Luke Shaw is also closing in on a return, but this match will likely come too soon for the left-back, although Diego Dalot’s good form means that may not be too much of an issue. Further up the pitch, Ten Hag have welcome headaches with Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho in good form, while Marcus Rashford was also among the goals against Southampton.

Possible United XI: Onana; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Martínez, Dalot; Ugarte, Mainoo; Garnacho, Fernandes, Rashford; Zirkzee

Prediction

Palace are a better team than their record suggests, United are about the kind of team their team suggests. This could be close. CHOOSE: Crystal Palace 1, Manchester United 1
