Denver wakes up to dense fog, chance of snow Saturday

A foggy morning followed by snow is predicted in Denver, because the National Weather Service warns that drivers should delay, use their headlights and leave space when they come across fog banks.

The office has issued Dense Mist Advice For Denver, Greeley and Byers, snow will probably last until 11 hours in Denver, usually after 2 p.m., with accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

A day height of 30 is predicted before the snow is absent and the temperatures fall to 12 degrees at night. The snow will get up on Sunday before they return Monday and Tuesday.

Snow in the mountains will continue and can make traveling difficult Until Saturday evening, according to the NWS.
