Devonta Smith etched his name next to the Elite of Football on Sunday evening. The broad recipient insured his place in history after winning Super Bowl Lix with the Philadelphia Eagles against the Kansas City Chiefs in the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
Smith only became the fifth player in history who won the Heisman Trophy, College National Championship and the Super Bowl. He joins an exclusive group with Charles Woodson, Marcus Allen, Tony Dorsett and Reggie Bush, as the only players who complete this rare Trifecta.
Devonta Smith Secure National Championships with Alabama in 2017 and 2020, with the last season also when he won the Heisman trophy. Now, with a super bowl ring added to his resume, he is only the only broad receiver in football history that all three performance completes.

Alabama advertisement shares a Devonta Smith story after Super Bowl -victory
After participating in the shortlist of people who won the Heisman -Trophy, the National Championship of the College Football and the Super Bowl, Devonta Smith became the first player in the history of the Southeastern Conference who achieved that performance.
On Monday, Alabama -atletic director Greg Bryne told an incredible story about the broad recipient on social media. Byrne was a personal witness to the dedication that fed Smith’s greatness on a January morning in 2021.
“Incredible!” Bryne wrote about X. “Many reasons why Devonta is Elite. In 2020, when he won the Heisman, it was awarded on campus for Covid. There was just a handful of us in the media room during the Heisman presentation. ‘
“The next morning, at 6 o’clock in the morning, there were 3 of us in the weight room on a free morning for the team. I (I did my old man training), Najee Harris and the newly beaten Heisman winner … Devonta Smith. I love that story.
Smith had a brilliant four -year -old university football career in Tuscaloosa and played a crucial role in the two national championships. He registered 235 receptions for 3,965 Yards and 85 touchdowns in a total of 54 performances for the Crimson Tide.
