In the night of October 11, 1978, Vicious and spunden organized a party in their hotel room, but reportedly fainted early. The next morning spunden was found dead on the bathroom floor, with a knife wound on her belly.

The murder weapon was identified as a Jaguar K-11 yacht knife, which spunden had bought Vicious a few days earlier.

The musician told the police that he had argued and spunden that night, but giving conflicting versions of what happened afterwards and said, “I stuck her down, but I never wanted to kill her,” he claimed that he did not remember anything, and then spunded the knife.

He was arrested and accused of second -degree murder, but was released on bail. Four months later he died of an overdose of heroin.

Vicious’ bandmate Johnny Rotten, whose real name John Lydon was, recently unveiled when the case had gone to court, Vicious would have had the support of the famous Rolling Stones -legend Mick Jagger.

Speak with host Michael Anthony about his self -titled podcastRotten revealed: “I know that at the time indirectly Mick Jagger set up a lawyer to help Sid’s case.”

However, Rotten clarified that the case was ‘too far away’.
