Sean “Diddy” Combschildren spoke out in the wake of their father’s arrest and ongoing legal battle.

Diddy and the late Kim Porter shared son Christian, 26, and he also adopted Porter’s son Quincy Brown, 33, during their relationship. They are also parents to twins D’Lila and Jessie, 17. Diddy was arrested in Manhattan last month. A day later, prosecutors accused Diddy of abusing, threatening and coercing women “to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation and conceal his conduct” in a 14-page indictment. He has since pleaded not guilty to all charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. (Multiple accusers have since filed lawsuits against the rapper as well. He has denied all allegations in those lawsuits.)
The music mogul submitted his third request for provisional release earlier this month, but it was rejected. Diddy will be held in jail without bail. His trial will begin on May 5, 2025.
Tuesday’s social media post isn’t the first time Diddy’s children have made a public statement about their father’s legal troubles.
Late last month, Quincy, Christian, Jessie and D’Lila spoke out in a statement condemning a memoir believed to have been written by the late Porter.
“We have seen so many hurtful and false rumors circulating about our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs’ relationship, and about our mother’s tragic passing that we feel the need to speak out,” read their social media post of September 24. “Claims that our mother wrote a book are simply not true. She did not do that, and anyone who claims to have a manuscript is misrepresenting the facts.”
The book, titled “Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice, From the Other Side…” has since been removed from Amazon.
“Additionally, please understand that any so-called ‘friend’ speaking on behalf of our mother or her family is not a friend, nor does she have her best interests at heart,” the children’s post added in part. “Our lives were destroyed when we lost our mother. She was our world. And nothing has been the same since she passed away.”
