You wait a very lifespan for a combined robot and paste vacuum cleaner – and then two will come along immediately.
Hot on the heels of the release of EUFY’s 3-in-1 E20, a combined robot vacuum, stick vac and handheld, Switchbot has launched a model with similar benefits.
The K10+ Pro Combo combines the world’s smallest robot vacuum (Switchbot’s K10+, which we have assessed) with a lightweight wireless vacuum. Both Dock and the charging together in an automatically developing base station, which means that no manual emptying is required.

But there are some major differences between the Switchbot and the EUFY model.
Eufy’s E20 is a transformer that uses a single filter for all three modes. Pop it from the robot vacuum and the filter becomes the vacuum body when it is in the stick and handheld mode.

In the meantime, the Switchbot K10+ Pro -Combo simply uses a shared dock to charge and empty both the robot and the Stokvacuum.
The K10+ Pro Combo has an advantage over the EUFY E20. No transformation is needed to use it in some mode. The EUFY E20 has a related limitation: you cannot use the robot and the vacuum at the same time.
With the Switchbot model you can lift and use the wireless vacuum directly from the standard – even when the robot vacuum is at work.
There is also a space problem. Because the real head of the EUFY E20 and the magic wand are not stored in the loading base, the dock takes up less vertical space. But you still have to find room to save the magic and carpet separately.

And there is one thing that it seems that neither devices can do – and that is joke, which means that you still have to keep mopping equipment to hand.
There is another compromise if you buy one. That is about the quality of both robot and stick -vacuum; Neither his flagship level, and these combined devices are quite pricey.
Is this two-in-one technology something that people really want, or is it just a way to create a point of difference in a busy market? Such as Dr. Ian Malcolm in Jurassic Park says: “Your scientists were so concerned with whether they could or could not, that they didn’t stop to think if they should.” Well, it’s something like that, but with people in marketing departments instead of scientists and vacuum cleaners instead of dinosaurs.

Price and availability
The Switchbot K10+ Pro -Combo costs £ 799.99, which we think is reasonably steep, but if you buy it now at Amazon, you can claim £ 160 discount on that price to pick it up to £ 639.99. This is much more reasonable, but with Amazon who is currently selling the K10+ Robot vacuum for just £ 219.99, you might be better waiting for the price to continue after the launch.
In the US it is priced at $ 799.99, but there is a similar voucher deal for Amazon. You can check a box on the page to claim $ 200 discount, which means that the price drops to $ 599.99.
In the meantime, the EUFY E20 is available online at Amazon and Eufy itself in the UK. It costs £ 549. American buyers can also find it on Amazon and Eufy in the US, where it costs $ 549.99.
