“The Apprentice” comes to Prime Video.
Amazon announced on Monday that the former reality competition series organized by the current US President Donald Trump will be available to stream on Prime Video from today, March 10, only in the United States. Season 1 of the series, originally debuted in 2004, is now available. Subsequent seasons will fall one per week on Monday to 27 April.
This is not the first time that “the student” is available for streaming. Previously, all 15 seasons of the show were available on Tubi from 2019, although that is no longer the case.
“I look forward to looking at this show myself – such great memories, and so nice, but above all, it was a learning experience for all of us!” Trump said in a statement.
‘The Apprentice’ from the legendary producer Mark Burnett and MGM Alternative, a division of Amazon MGM Studios. Both Burnett and Trump are executive producers in the series. In the show, 16 participants would compete in various business -related challenges with the aim of winning a position in one of Trump’s companies and a salary of $ 250,000.
The show turned out to be incredibly popular with his debut, with an average weekly audience of 20 million viewers during the first season. It was eventually broadcast for 15 seasons and nearly 200 episodes seasons such as “The Apprentice” (seasons 1-6 and season 10) and eight more as “The Celebrity Apprentice.” Trump organized every season except the last season, which was led by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Trump left the series in 2015 with his decision to become president.
This is the last Trump-related news for Prime Video in recent months. The streamer also only has a license for an upcoming documentary about First Lady Melania Trump, who is expected to debut later this year.
“The Apprentice” is one of the best shows I have ever produced, “said Burnett. “The charismatic presence on the screen of President Donald J. Trump made it a bona fide hit! Now, thanks to Prime Video, a whole new audience will experience a new season every Monday. This show is a love letter to New York City! ‘Survivor’ grew a completely new solid audience as a result of the fact that the old seasons were shocked during the pandemic. On Monday, March 10, this same phenomenon will start again … with ‘The Apprentice’. “
