Monday, February 10, 2025, the first look at the coming Dragon Ball Super manga One-shot officially shared in a video of the official YouTube channel of the franchise. While the One-shot itself and the release date of Thursday, February 20, 2025 were previously announced at Jump Festa 2025, this latest sneak Peek was offered the first.

While the Dragon Ball Super Manga returns with a one-shot, it is unclear from writing this article whether the One-shot marks the return of the manga to regular serialization. However, the latest video ‘Weekly Dragon Ball News’ that shares the sketch of one of the pages of the chapter, however, teases more information to this Thursday 13 February.

Dragon Ball Super Manga returns with One-shot, but still has to announce a return to regular serialization

Probably the upcoming information will reveal extra concept sketches of pages on Thursday 13 February for the coming Dragon Ball Super Manga one-shot. This is something the series did regularly before he took his current break after the death of Akira Toriyama, that’s why it seems probably the most important focus. However, if the manga will return quickly to regular serialization, this can also be announced on Thursday.

It would also be logical, because the series was during a break for almost a year, announced for the first time in April 2024 after the aforementioned death of Toriyama. Just before the death of Toriyama, De Manga seemed to lay the foundation for a new arch, which suggests that there is at least one direction for the near future of the story. Illustrator and presumably now author Toyotaro has probably spent a majority of the interruption to plan a long -term vision for the future of the series.

This gives further credibility to the idea that the Dragon Ball Super Manga’s return to regular serialization is close. Similarly, even if this return is not announced just before or next to the release of the One-shot, fans can take the One-shot as a sign that the long-awaited return will come soon. However, this is still purely speculative from writing this article, without rumors or official news that will soon be returning.

The Manga series originally started in June 2015 and was written by Toriyama prior to his death in March 2024. The Manga was adjusted in a television -anime that ran from July 2015 to March 2018. Both the anime and the manga are considered a united canonic canonic as a united canonic despite the fact that some discrepancies and various events. The story is played for a few years after the defeat of Majin Buu, but prior to the last episodes of the Dragon Ball Z Anime.

Toriyama passed on March 1, 2024 at the age of 68 of an acute subdural hematoma. Toriyama was quite known as the maker of the Dragonball franchise, as well as the Dr. Slump Mangaka and the character designer of both the Chrono trigger video game and Dragon Quest Video game franchise.
