Dropout has ordered a second season for the “Misfits & Magic” edition of the role-playing show “Dimension 20,” which will premiere on the streamer on September 25.
“Years after the events of season one, the pilot must search for the future of magic,” the show’s logline teases.
The 11-episode season, helmed by gaming master Aabria Iyengar, will roll out new episodes weekly on Wednesdays.
The cast for the second season of “Dimension 20: Misfits & Magic” consists of Brennan Lee Mulligan (“Critical Role,” “Candela Obscura”) as Evan Kelmp, Erika Ishii (“Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three,” “Critical Role Abridged”) as K , Danielle Radford (“Pitch Down with Doug Benson,” “Steel of Fire Warriors 2010 AD”) as Sam Black and Lou Wilson (“The King of Staten Island,” “Faster, Purple Worm! Kill! Kill!”) as Whitney Jammer.
The most recent season of Dropout’s Dungeons & Dragons playshow “Dimension 20” concluded on August 28 with the 10th and final episode of “Never Stop Blowing Up,” an ’80s action movie episode.
The ‘Dimension 20’ franchise is one of the most popular shows in the small but growing line of titles offered by indie entertainment company Dropout (formerly CollegeHumor), including ‘Game Changer’, ‘Make Some Noise’ and ‘Very important People ‘. others. Dropout has moved into live entertainment with the ‘Dimension 20’ brand, which previously hosted shows in Britain and recently sold out a live show at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
