Eastbound I-70 reopens at the Eisenhower Tunnel after a crash

Eastbound Interstate 70 has reopened at the Eisenhower Tunnel after a crash, police said Colorado Department of Transportation.

The highway was closed between Exit 205 for US 6/Silverthorne and Exit 216 for Loveland Pass from 6:26 p.m. and reopened at 7:40 p.m.

Drivers can expect delays in the area, CDOT officials said in an alert.

I-70 between Eisenhower Tunnel and Vail Pass was closed several times Monday due to crashes as one of the first substantial snowstorms of the season barreled through Colorado.
