Samsung started 2025 popping during the Galaxy Unpacked event.
The Korean technology giant not only revealed the long-awaited Galaxy S25 series, but also made an exciting leap into the world of augmented and virtual reality.
Here is an overview of everything that has been announced, including all four phones and a brand new headset.

Milky road system S25
The Galaxy S25 continues the tradition of offering a flagship experience in a more compact form.
It has a 6.2-inch FHD+ Dynamic Amoled 2x screen with a peak clearance of 2600 Nits, is powered by the advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset and offers 12 GB Ram.

The phone has a main camera of 50 MP, an ultra -wide lens of 12 MP and a 10 MP 3x telephone sensor. In addition to a 4000 mAh battery, it supports 25 W wired and 15 W wireless charging.
From £ 799 / $ 799.99 the Galaxy S25 is a compact entry model in the Samsung ecosystem.

For those who prefer a larger screen, the Galaxy S25+ offers a 6.7-inch QHD+ screen with the same impressive Amoled technology.
It also benefits from the new Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset and retains the 12 GB RAM in all variants.

Although the phone has the same camera system as its smaller counterpart, the battery gets a boost up to 4900 mAh and supports it faster charging with 45 W.
With prices from £ 999/$ 999.99, the Galaxy S25+ promises a premium experience at a middle class price level.
Galaxy s25ultra
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is the highlight of this year’s line-up. It has a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic Amoled 2x screen, a slimmer design and an improved titanium construction.
The Ultra model contains a groundbreaking camera system with a 200Mp main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens with macro options and a 10MP telephoto lens.

The Ultra is powered by the same Snapdragon 8 elite for Galaxy chip and offers up to 1 TB storage space and a battery of 5000 mAh with fast charging of 45 W. Read our Galaxy S25 Ultra Hands-on for more information.
The prices for the Ultra start at £ 1,249 / $ 1,299.99, and it is available in a series of refined titanium finishes.
Galaxy S25 Rand
Although it has not yet been confirmed, it is very likely that the Galaxy S25 Edge that teased Samsung was the generally rumors ‘Slim’ model.
Apart from showing during a first glance at the San Jose event, the company has not unveiled specific details about the phone.

However, leaks and rumors paint a clearer image, which suggests that the Edge will only be 6.4 mm thick and offer a screen between 6.7 and 6.8 inches.
It is expected that it will match the S25 Ultra with 200 MP main agency camera, 50 mp ultra -wide and 12 MP selfie cameras, although the 50 mp ultra -wide camera will probably be downgraded from 5x to 3.5x optical zoom. Most other specifications are expected to remain the same, including the Snapdragon 8 elite for Galaxy chipset, but the battery capacity remains a mystery.
The rumor is that the phone will be launched in April and will be priced somewhere between the S25 + and S25 Ultra.

Project Mohan
Samsung also teased its new XR headset (extended reality), with the Codenaam Project Moohan. The device has been developed in collaboration with Google and Qualcomm and uses the tailor-made Android XR operating system to seamlessly integrate with the Galaxy ecosystem.
The streamlined headset combines advanced AI-controlled interactions with a lightweight design and promises revolutionary opportunities in the field of gaming, education and entertainment.
Although initially planned for release for developers, a consumer release is expected on a not yet specified date.

The Galaxy Unpacked event of Samsung has set a daring tone for 2025 and it seems to be the first of many major launches for the company this year.
Pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series are now live, with availability from 7 February 2025. However, you have to wait a little longer on the S25 Edge and Project Moohan.
