If you are a fan of Fallout, you will definitely wonder: will this crazy show return for a second season? Amazon did not keep the viewers in excitement for long, because only a week after the Première series gave the green light to a sequel.
Many fans of the Fallout games were worried about whether the Amazon Prime Video series would catch the spirit of the original. It turned out that the makers of the show were up to the task. They took viewers on a fascinating journey through a post-apocalyptic world full of danger and surprises.

When is Fallout season 2 released?
Amazon has not yet set a premiere date. Based on the production schedule for season 1, however, we will try to predict when season 2 can fall on prime video.
Amazon announced the Fallout series in July 2020 and filming began on July 5, 2022. Season 1 debuted on the service on 10 April 2024, a year and nine months after the work started on the set.
The recordings for the second season of Fallout started in November 2024 and ended in May 2025. Now the post -production period has started, which can take a few months, and a marketing campaign will follow that. Fallout season 2 will probably appear At the beginning of 2026.

What could the plot of Fallout season 2 be about?

The first season showed only a piece of this universe. In the second season, the makers get the chance to present a larger cut of the post-apocalyptic world, where retro aesthetics mixes with futuristic technology.

Lucy, Ghoul and Dog’s trip together
In the final of the season 1, Lucy decides to join forces with the disgusting creep and to chase a chase after Hank. Lucy’s father is probably on the way to where the main bosses of Vault-Tec are hidden. By following him, the Ghoul hopes to find his wife and daughter, who would have been supposed to have ended up in one of the top of the company.
The fight for cold merger
Moldaver managed to restore the cold merger technology, but her hiding place was quickly taken by the brotherhood of steel. The soldiers probably seized the invention. In season 2, however, they will probably fight for a cold merger with other factions, including the enclave, from which Dr. Siggi Wilzig escaped.

The first season showed a fragment of events 200 years ago. However, it is still unclear how Cooper separated himself from his wife and what happened to his family immediately after the atomic explosion. In season 2 the writers must fill these holes.

Maximus and the brotherhood of steel
Despite all the morally questionable decisions that Maximus made, he was not only offered to return to the Brotherhood, but also to participate in the reconstruction. Perhaps in season 2, Maximus will have to decide whether he wants to devote himself to the brotherhood and help to take over the Woestenij, or to help Lucy instead.
Norm and safe 31
One of the most exciting elements of the season was Lucy’s brother who tried to disgrace the web of conspiracies around vaults 31, 32 and 33. Unfortunately, Curiosity killed the cat. Although Standard received answers to his questions, he was imprisoned in Vault 31. Certainly, someone will have to help come out. According to a conversation that was heard by Cooper 200 years earlier, the makers of the crypts had many strange ideas for the management of their inhabitants. Residents forced to fight for resources, controlled by a milk distribution robot or converted into super mutants are just a few of them. We hope that in season 2 we will visit more hiding places and discover new puzzles that are lurking.

Who makes the Fallout series?
Amazon entrusted the adjustment of Fallout to Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, with their business cotton films. The choice was well thought out, since the duo previously created the futuristic series Westworld for HBO.
In addition to Nolan, Joy and Athena Wickham from Kilder films, the executive producer for the show Todd Howard, who directed various games in the Fallout franchise. The Executive Team is supported by James Altman from Bethesda Softworks.
