I’ve already made my case for a Pixel Smart Ring, but my other big request for Google wearables in 2025 is a Pixel Watch Series-A, not the Pixel Watch 4.
Google has proven that it can be an excellent smartwatch, the Pixel Watch has been my personal favorite on the market every year, but it’s time to expand the family with a more budget-friendly model.
Not everyone can afford a flagship smartwatch and while buying a previous generation model can be an economical option, it’s still not enough for many customers. The Pixel Watch 2 costs £239 at the time of writing.
I’m talking less than £200/$200 to compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE and other similarly priced budget smartwatches. Even Apple has a wallet-friendly option in the Apple Watch SE 2.

Imagine a cheaper Pixel Watch 3 with a similarly attractive design and features. Of course, Google will have to make some compromises in terms of materials and specifications, but it’s more than doable.
Google has made plenty of excellent A-series devices over the years, with some of the best mid-range phones you can buy, including the Pixel 8a, and the Pixel Buds also getting the A treatment.
So why not the Pixel Watch? If you ask me, it’s a recipe for success.
