Fort Collins man arrested after street shooting

A Fort Collins man is charged with attempted murder after shooting into another driver’s vehicle during a road rage incident in north Loveland on Friday, police say.

Brice Carey, 23, was booked into the Larimer County Jail on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder, menacing, attempting to commit a class 3 felony and tampering with physical evidence.

Loveland police said no injuries were reported following the shooting. They said Carey fled north toward Fort Collins and was arrested at his home Friday after being identified with the help of the sheriff’s office.

Carey’s bail had yet to be set as of Saturday afternoon. Anyone with information about the incident can call Loveland police at 970-962-2032 or Larimer County Crime Stoppers at 970-221-6868.
